As part of the World Wilderness Congress commitment to the importance of training and education, the following special technical course and certification will be offered to field managers and natural resource administrators as a comprehensive introduction to the wilderness concept and its practical management requirements. For participants from developing nations, the special cost price for the entire course (tuition, room and board) plus WWC registration and accommodation (see registration details) is US$ 900. Transportation from your home to the Congress and return is additional. 

Scholarships are available upon application and review by the Secretariat. PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO PROFESSIONALS FROM DEVELOPING COUNTRIES. First, determine if funding is available thru your department or organization. If not, please consult foreign aid and development agencies in your country for special training funds. Print out this information from the web and present it to funding sources. In order to keep the costs as low as possible, THE TRAINING WILL BE CONDUCTED IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE ONLY.
