The World Wilderness Congress is a public, non-profit process initiated in 1977. Its accomplishments for wilderness worldwide have been made possible by many and diverse people, organizations, agencies and companies. Though an ongoing project of The WILD Foundation (LINK TO WILD SITE), it is a collective, inclusive process that reaches out to all people and perspectives concerned with the protection and sustainability of wild nature and its dependent human and natural communities.
