The Eastern Cape, South Africa
The 7th World Wilderness Congress will convene in Port Elizabeth, in the Eastern Cape, a historic town on the Indian Ocean just a one hour flight from all South Africašs major cities (Johannesburg, Cape Town, or Durban). Safe and well-serviced, with a stunning beachfront setting, Port Elizabeth is very near the Addo Elephant Tsitsikamma National Parks, the Baviaanskloof Wilderness Area, and a world-class private game reserve and wilderness area. The Congress venues include both the beautiful and traditional Feather Market Hall, and The Boardwalk, Sun Internationalšs brand-new beachfront convention
