WHEREAS,

Efforts in wilderness protection are uncoordinated.

With new wilderness NGO's being formed co-ordination & planning of wilderness protection actions is required.

Co-operation is necessary to avoid conflict and to streamline actions.

THEREFORE, the 7^th World Wilderness Congress

RESOLVES, that

Wilderness NGO's within South Africa and other countries should whenever possible collaborate, leverage their strengths through alliances, and form national and international coalitions to address important wilderness related issues.
