WHEREAS,

Environmental education is being formalised to fit within the national qualification framework in South Africa; and

Current wilderness education is not adequately represented within formal education programs.
 

THEREFORE, the 7^th World Wilderness Congress

RESOLVES, that

Relevant agencies and departments within South African national government incorporates wilderness education into the national educational framework.
