WHEREAS,
The World Wilderness Congress
- depends on executive leadership and organizing activities of many people in diverse
organizations, public and private;
- these leaders are dependent upon support from their administrative and secretarial
assistants for implementing the many tasks associated with planning and implementing the
WWC;
- these support people must exercise a great deal of judgement, vision, and hard work to
provide timely materials and perform tasks;
The 6th
World Wilderness Congress hereby resolves:
To express its appreciation and commends the professional efforts and personal
sacrifice provided by the following people who could not be present at this Congress but
without whose help the 6th WWC would be less effective and far less enjoyable:
